Pick the distribution, log in over SSH and the server is yours to run. Resources that are never oversold, a static Argentine IP and a panel to reboot it, power it off or on and watch its resources.
With root you install whatever the project calls for: Nginx or Apache, PHP, Python, Docker, a database or all of them. Nobody restricts your packages or ports.
The plan’s vCPUs, memory and disk are reserved for your VPS. Every machine runs isolated on Proxmox, so another customer’s load does not slow you down.
From the panel you reboot it, power it off or on, and see how much CPU, memory and disk it uses. If a firewall rule locks you out, open a ticket and we help you get back in.
When the project needs more, move to a bigger plan and it is still the same server: nothing to reinstall or migrate.

The link opens the cart with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS selected. If you prefer Debian or AlmaLinux, change it right there.
Use the IP and root password from the welcome email:
ssh root@TU_IPBring the system up to date and add a sudo user so you are not always working as root. On Debian and Ubuntu:
apt update && apt full-upgrade -y
adduser ana && usermod -aG sudo anaFAQ
Debian 12 and 13; Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04 and 26.04 LTS; AlmaLinux 9 and 10; and CentOS Stream 9 and 10. If your project needs a different one, tell us which before ordering and we will check whether it can be installed.
With no preference, go with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS: it gets updates until 2029 and most documentation you will find assumes it. Debian is more conservative and lighter. AlmaLinux is the pick when your software asks for a system compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Yes, through a reinstall you request by ticket. It leaves the disk blank, so copy your data somewhere else first.
No: it is delivered clean and managed over SSH. If you would rather use a panel, add a DirectAdmin or cPanel license when ordering; it is charged together with the plan.
The VM2 (2 vCPU, 2 GB of RAM and 30 GB of disk) is US$18 a month, final price. Choosing any of the distributions adds nothing.
Tell us about your project and we will help you size it: VPS, cloud server or colocation. You talk to a person who knows servers.
